So really the bottom line is that both sides believe our country is filled with stupid people.

Republicans say fuck them, they had every opportunity to educate themselves.

Democrats say we have to help them because they can't help that they're stupid.

But unfortunately these stupid people decide how the election goes, and they just vote the party line based on what their stupid parents voted for.

Sound about right?

I still wish we could construct a voting system that is comprised of a population of well educated citizens with a strong understanding of history and political sciences....preferably from diverse backgrounds.

The fact that our president and government are elected by people that can hardly read, only took elementary history classes, and have never taken even the most basic political science course is ridiculous when you look at it from the outside. Our government is being chosen by people who learn about political issues from some idiots on a TV. That is absurd.

Just look at this video. Why are any of these people allowed to vote?! (This is Romney supporters, but I know the same thing exists in the other party too)

It's sad, and I feel we've only seen the beginning.

it's getting high enough now that I'm somewhat convinced that they really think they can secede.

did Romney move there?

http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...ift-gaffe.html

He's still steadfast in his 47% opinion, that Obama had unified support of greedy liberal beggers (despite that 47% ACTUALLY being very diverse and not as liberal as you'd expect).

He believes his loss was not because he was a lame candidate nor that his conservative GOP supporters were focusing too much on denying gay marriage and abortion to the point that people that were fiscally conservative, but were so concerned about the possible impact on their way of life by the Religion based social value legislation, that they voted for Obama instead.

I always knew it tended to be broken down that way, but seeing it in a chart, good lord.
