I actually really enjoyed Witney. I was bummed when it was cancelled.

Someone was in a hurry to pick up the kids from soccer practice, grab McDonalds for dinner, text her hubby that she was running late, change the radio station, put on her makeup, and drink her Route 44 Diet Coke.

Thing is you always assume something like that is what led up to the error.... I succomed to the bet it was a female on the phone talking....

Felt bad for the couple.... Looked like the driver was a 60+ year old fella who was just leaving the post office parking lot with his 80 year old mom in the passenger seat...

So then I thought.... Crap... He wasn't paying attention.... Probably on a fixed income.... Maybe picking up a welfare check at a post office box.... He's getting up there... Might be losing his license soon... He could have hit a worker...

I kind of went from.... "Stupid person" serves you right..... To.... Crap.... And elderly couple trying to make ends meet and this isn't going to help them.... The local police ended up pulling them out and gave him a ticket...

Yeah. Honestly, I feel bad for that situation. I don't really know if I agree with ticketing anyone in that situation though. I mean.. both parties lose. The crew pouring the concrete STILL has to pay more money to fix it, and the old couple now has to pay a fine and fix their car if any damage. I know logistically it's stupid to assume they could just pay the company pouring the concrete $100 and be on their way. But Ticketing them solves nothing really. I'd probably hook my truck up and pull them out no matter if it was a 90+ yr old woman or a teenager. lol

Awesome the work that took. Plus you have to know at least three people with stormtrooper outfits
