I would expect M7 to be more then a major part of the buildup to and thru the event.

Ivan call me so we can discuss the particulars.

You do know that this is American Touge, right? It concentrates on cars that were built for the street, not the track!

Good luck to you too, homez!

unfortunately our competition takes place on a track that simulates touge... whereas their comps overseas actually have trees and rocks on the side of the road.

Thanks, Ben!

I still have yet to meet with Peter to discuss possible modifications, but I go to Steve's Auto Clinic yesterday to have him install my 16% M7 Technology Pulley. Holy #$%&! My car has transformed! It pulls hard in any gear, even letting me get in trouble in 6th gear if I bury the throttle at freeway speeds. The sound is really eerie, too--as it no longer has the happy-go-lucky harmony of the stock supercharger whine combined with the engine's hum. As the supercharger is spinning faster vs the RPM of the engine, it now makes a much different howl, and above 6k RPM, it sounds like it's really turning at 9k!

Welcome aboard.

You've just had your first sample of MINI-power-heroin. It's addictive.

See you at Steve's.

Website updated with a participant list!

http://www.bestmotoringvideo.com/new...rticipant.html

The competition looks stiff with regards to times, but I'm hoping that the fact that my car is actually set up to be a daily driver will earn me some points.

Spike and the Integra-R look like the only daily drivers in your class. Should be worth something.

Most definitely. Steve at Steve's Auto Clinic will be corner-balancing and re-aligning the car to my specifications this Saturday, along with some other goodies, so the car should handle like a dream for the battle.
