Rally's thread of incredible photography car porn desktops would be a bit long on a phone screen though.

lol, thanks for the kind words guys

Hopefully this thread goes back to being a bit more random as I'm refocusing some of my time back on art and graphic design to keep me sane (or try atleast )

I think all of those photos are 135 2.0

There's a chance I shot that Nitto shot with my 50 1.2, but it doesnt look wide enough to be that lens.

I'm rather proud of this one. I documented my trip down Highway 1 in the new BMW M6 on my way back from Laguna Seca.

Hahaha yeah that last one was rough. I love the other two in the lineage though. I think the new one is beautiful.

Gorgeous. I did that drive last fall for some friends' wedding in Big Sur, but I had to do it in a rental Mazda 6 because my Mustang I had then was being a dick. I've often thought, since I got my Mini shortly after that drive, that I need to repeat it and do those twisties justice in my Mini. It would be a blast. I'll need a real camera if I'm to do that trip. I'll never be able to get shots like yours but I'd be a fool not to try.

Love those M6-shots, just my kind of road trip pics, ßthough you're lying in the comments. Most were made with a 50mm...

I drove down HWY1 from SF to LA in 2010 with my gf in a rented Camaro V6. We specifically planned for it, and stayed at a nice see view hotel in San Luis Obispo. Too bad we had crazy fog all the way down, so we hardly got to see the ocean at all. The next morning we just took the quickest way to LA... I guess we'll be redoing that part of our trip somewhere in the future.

Hahah whoops. Did I use my 50? I forgot and just assumed 135, my other lens.

I've been using my g/f's 5D2 and 50/1.4 a lot recently, so the perspective looked familiair. EXIF confirmed it...
