Yea, I get it, honestly its prob more jealousy than anything else. If I had a 964, I would prob go a different way with it, IMO. Do what you like, slam a bugatti, race an aveo, whatever floats your boat.

It's funny how just having different bumpers demand totally different styling responses. For example, what would look good on a 964 might not look quite right on a 911 and visa versa.

A. Might be hydros like the silver one that looks like that.

B. I'd love to find this rule book that mediocre people tend to quote that dictates what people should do and should not do with certain makes and models. Surely that same lame rule book would tell Onasled that there's a time and a place to build a race car and that a 1.6L FWD economy car might not be it. But, in reality, it's wonderful that he has found a car he is passionate about and it's great that he has set up a challenge for himself to make it into a racecar. I think that's absolutely inspiring and that's why I love this car thing. People take cars and they do what THEY want with them. It's a direct expression of who they are. You realize how boring and monotonous life would be if we all built cars based on these imaginary guidelines? How stupid.

Porsches should only be performance cars. BMWs should only be white. Impalas should be made into lowriders. Volks should only be used on JDM cars. Miatas should only be driven by girls. Blah blah blah...."shoulds" are lame. Enjoy whatever car you want in whatever manner you want to enjoy it. Ignore the boring people that follow imaginary guidelines.
Haa, my simple "ugggg" got this much attention? How come I can't express "uggg" here yet there is "House of Ugly/unique "? Plenty of people have "ugged" my stuff. It's what the car world is all about, different taste. I have not started any campaign here promoting that Porsches should never be slammed. So , relax, ... I have no conspiracy to discredit those who like to do this to their cars. Let me goof around as much as the next guy, OK?

Didn't know 964 had a targa option? Or is it an updated 78-88?

Yea, silver targa bar= mid 70s, 2.7L, but if theres that much body mods, I'm guessing it has the 3.6, or at least a 3.2 SC engine. . .

Rob Dickinson, former frontman of the British 90s alternative band Catherine Wheel, and cousin of Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson, owns a business that focuses on restoring and rebuilding 911s. Be sure to check out the gallery.

Our primary focus since inception indeed, our obsession has been the development of a meticulously restored and optimized air-cooled Porsche 911, in our view the most important sports car on the planet and worthy of such celebration for its iconic status and the genius of the company and the men that created it.
