Very different. Nice to see Williams back in the game, and not to see Vettel win a race for once.

To me, there is nothing like the roar of an F1 engine. That roar seems to have been lost this year. I'm not a big fan of these 1.6L V6 engines.

Pretty good start to the season for me so far. I'm not really a Hamilton fan but right now I'm in the ABV camp, so a Hamilton win is by far better than another one for Vettel.

Did anyone else hear about this "breach of contract" thing regarding the sound?

Too funny!

the biggest thing that comes to mind was a quote from "Truth in 24"

Quote:
"Noise is a form of energy, and the less you hear means the more you use in propultion. It's sexy, the sound. Sex has nothing to do with screaming, some people believe it, but some others make it more quiet but more sensitive. Thats what we did with this diesel"
some R18 e-Tron fly bys

but still, I feel like the Diesel LeMans cars sound better

Some of the power players , red bull among them , are voicing their extreme displeasure up to the point of pulling out of the series .

They were quoted during brief interviews from both races . Even Ernie's starting to sound negative .

I kinda like the driver's reactions to the lower noise. They can hear the rest of the car better and it gives them a little better advantage. At least on TV it's not as bad as it seems it is in person.

Good stuff this year so far in my opinion. Kinda think that Hamilton and Rosberg may end up in a good old nascar style hissy fit fight before the season ends.
Only going by tv/web but I don't mind the sound of the cars.

The race last week was excellent in my opinion! It's amazing how close each of the teams finished to each other. Mercedes, RedBull, Ferrari, etc. They were almost all finishing paired up with each other.

Very good race; much more competitive than previous seasons so far! Yeah I have a feeling that those two (Ham/Ros) are going to have it out before all is said and done.
