That's exactly what I needed. Thanks!

Looks like they're plenty 'domed'. I may have to follow your lead and try this out.

yeah. Even with the projector mounted fairly deep into the housing. I mounted it almost 2 inches into the housing and I have at least an inch left between the lens and the housing lens. Side profile doesn't even show the projector.

Keep in mind as well that the TL projector is one of the largest and most awkward projectors out there. But it does net the best cutoff and light output as well as the widest light output. If you can fit them, great. But there are still GREAT options that are smaller and less awkward.

agreed. a good candidate if space is an issue is a fx-r projector. the performance is close to the tl but in a smaller package.

Well mine? I kinda lucked out. I got one of the projectors for free and the other for $25. They are normally about $60-$80 a piece for good working ones.

$120 for projectors
$40 for ZKW-R clear lenses
$160 Full HID kit with wiring harness
$55 Various supplies from Home Depot for housings
$25 for clear ebay housings
$45 for shrouds

$445? Maybe a bit more if you're getting shipping from here and there and little other things? Keep your eyes on ebay for the projectors you want for your application. Sometimes you can get lucky like I did.

I have spent so much money on other things. I spend $45 on relays when I upgraded my halogens. I paid $100 for good quality sealed beam halogens and then $65 for premium Halogens. Then the other various bits. And all for not much better light output. And uglier style to boot.

Personally, I would have spent $500 to do the whole thing again. I spent $250 on the halogen retrofit if we're being honest. And those damn 100watt bulbs only last a year if you're LUCKY.

These are for sale. I'm looking at another option after the restoration. Let me know if you're interested in purchasing. Includes everything. bulbs, ballasts, projectors, everything.

$350.
