whatchya need is a loading bay the same height as the top of the wheel wells in the truck bed, four of those plastic car ramps, and two 7 foot long 2x8s. put the ramps upside down in front of and behind the wheel arches, and the boards along the top of the wheel arches/upside down ramps. Then simply back the truck up to the loading bay and Italian Job style run the Mini through the warehouse and into the truck....
now THAT sounds like an adventure. and, if it works putting a classic mini in the back of a ram, i might have to one-up it and put my R50 in the back of an international CXT.

and mytmous, why don't you like the wide arches? i think they look great...i mean, i guess any small european car looks better in my mind when it's got a down and out stance, but lowered ride height and wide wheel arches on classic minis make me wish i had enough project car money to keep a new mini and a classic at the same time.

no, no, no. I LOVE wide aches. Mine aren't wide enough. haha. I want the sportpack arches. They came on the newer Minis (90's) and look a LOT better. And with those I'll be able to fit the deep dish rims I want to buy. These are wide enough right now, but the ones I want are a lot smoother and ft better. Plus, these have nasty exposed screws.. blegh.
