From an aesthetic viewpoint it wouldn't be too difficult or expensive to do that, depending on whether you do the paint yourself. From here it looks like:

New forks
New triple tree
Fork brace
I don't see a rotor on that front wheel so not sure what's going on with it
New bars
New controls
New tail / seat
New exhaust
New rear shocks
New carbs
Fresh paint on everything
Plus whatever he's got going on in the engine

you'd probably want a front fender, a headlight, rear sets for a better riding position, a speedo and maybe a tach too for every day riding.

It's a good looking bike Those contests annoy the shit out of me. The top 4 bikes are virtually stock from the looks of it. The top bike only has an exhaust, new bars and a new headlight as far as I can tell.

Yeah. That's why I'm asking people to help out.

The bike itself is not completed either. It's actually got a custom EFI setup that he builds and sells. Couldn't tell you all the details, but the disc brakes will be a BREMBO setup off a later Honda sportbike I believe...(CBR600?) And there is a lot of custom machine work on the bike that he's done in his garage/shop.

Pic of the EFI. And also shows the oil pressure relocation gauge that he machines from billet.

Nice! I really like the Grom.

I picked up one of those Legendary GPS speedometers to replace my mechanical speedo that broke on me. At least now I won't have to worry about whether my speedo is accurate

Yeah the 749 is looking awesome

I don't know what it is about me, but I feel compelled to want to put a fairing on every bike that doesn't come with one, and take the fairing off every one that does.

Yes! I love that you have one of these

I really need to get my ass in gear and get mine on the lift or riding season is going to be here before I've done any work.
