Its not hard at all. Just think of all the 16yr olds out there doing it.

The only bitch about it is you need a tire machine and an air supply (some are all electric). Considering what you have done to your Mini yourself, you could mount/dismount tires easily.

Whats worse though, the wheels you are dealing with will require "no-scratch" machines and those get very costly. And like it was said, the real expense comes from the balance machine. Best to just get buddy buddy with a shop that will let you come in on the weekends or something.

I really don't care for like 80% of your opinion, so I'm not judging.

In terms of visual design and style? Most certainly. They're the same one-piece, tuner style design. It's not a bad thing...just a different style.

Well i can agree with that. IMO They are the best looking in that category though...

I would love a set of "high-end" wheels, but just can not justify the cost. "Superlight Wheels" FTW. You guys would know, does anyone import them from over the pond ?

call up emilio at 949racing vs email. he might be able to do you a favor. 6UL's FTW in terms of performance, but they surely aren't as pretty as some of the wheels in this thread. i have a set of 15x9's so i'm on your side of the fence.

Now that I think of it...there's no need for a balance machine as you can just use the stuff truckers use. Throw the beads in the tire and it self balances everything after you drive it around a little. It's supposedly better than stick on weights too.

i guy at work used those on his motorcycle last year and he hasn't had problems since. if it works on big rigs and motorcycles i can't imagine it's be an issue for passenger cars.
