There's no "trend," RS' are timeless, classic wheels that look great on almost any car. They've been around for decades and are still popular because they're a great design. Hating on something because it's popular is retarded, but feel free to choose poor looking wheels that nobody runs so you can be "different."

Spikes in popularity = trend.

And as far as looking great on any car...i guess thats where the issue is. They dont. There are come cars that look near perfect with them, but after them being thrown on anything just to fit the bill of "cool" the lost the "special" they may have ever had.

Whining about trendy things is the new trend.

Build cool cars, post cool pictures, run awesome wheels. Just do something other than whine on forums about things that are "too trendy" for you. People are doing it too much these days.

I guess you missed where I said I do love Mesh wheels, just really tired of seeing/hearing about the RS's.

And no, you are not doing it riGHT. 1) The wheels are not the same white, and it looks tacky as such. When you match the color white on the wheels as the rest of the car it will look better. 2) There are much better look mesh wheels out there... 3) The combination of the laaarge black trim, and the contrast of the white/black, makes the wheels look rather small and out-of-place on the rather 'large' Clubman.

Man, with that kind of pretentious attitude, I'm really really curious to see what badass ride you own. You have any pics so we can see how to do it right?
