I did this to my tail lights but I only painted the chrome ring exposed outside the red plastic...Chad Jr. . I used a set of backups I ordered off NAM market. I'm gonna do the full Chad on my original tail lights but I need to get some LED spiderlite bulbs so they will be bright enuff

Mine are all black with the stock bulbs and they are plenty bright. Just need to make sure you don't go overboard on the lens.

FWIW led replacements for standard bulbs all fail. I have yet to see one that utilizes the reflector as well as the original bulb. You would be better off with a Silverstar signal bulb they are a bit brighter than standard bulbs-not a lot but enough usually

::edit::
I get a lot of H-D owners that want them and I get the same number that want to return them.

One of the greatest things about these lights is the uber cool iridescent bulb for the blinker. It makes the clear part all cooly looking I <3 them!

I took some good shots of my car yesterday with the tail light mod. I'll work on editing the size and posting up the photos tonight. the funny thing about this mod for me was it took me like a year and a half to get them done! i bought the lights of eBay, cut them apart, then they sat on the shelf because we got busy with dragon work. one day i was cleaning up the garage and saw them, stopped everything i was doing and finished them. i just love the way they look on the EB! we can also make them for anyone that really wants them.

Ah man that's exactly what I was going to say!! I was too distracted by the stance and those wide tires to pay attention to the tail lights
