Any players here? I've heard a lot of good things, especially for beginners. I've always wanted to learn to play. Does anyone have some first hand knowledge?

we picked this up last weekend. the boy loves it (he is also an amazing guitar player). i am a beginner and find it pretty difficult, plus playing on a real guitar hurts my fingers after a while. it's like trying to hit the note on guitar hero, but having to know what fret you need to be on and trying to figure it out all at once.

the cool thing is that it goes at your pace, i'm stuck on a dead weather song right now that i can't get enough points for so i haven't played in a week.

the songs are awesome though, and if i was a little better at guitar i would give it 2 thumbs up. i will prolly try to play it again this weekend.

Thanks! I was impressed when I saw the songs, very excited for a few, specifically.

Your mini review makes me want it now TBE. I trust you guys would know for sure if it would be good or not. Now that I think about it though, my guitar's output jack is well... jacked.

yeah you have to be able to plug it in. it's pretty sweet it comes with a cable.... the soundtrack is AWESOME so it makes me want to play. way better than any guitar hero/rock band track listing.

I played it for the first time over the weekend with a friend's guitar, it's a great starting point. The songs are fun and it really does well at moving at your pace so you get as much out of it as you can.

Some bad news, I was planning on stopping by and getting the game today with a guitar but due to an unusual accident I have 2nd degree burns on my left hand's finger tips and palm. Set back my practicing time, unfortunately.
