Default New R53 owner from indiana

Posted on nam as well, but fairly confident this will be the site i prefer

Figured it was time that I introduce myself. I bought a 2004 mcs in dark silver metallic accented in aspen white. I actually bought the car as a surprise for my girlfriend, because she wanted something faster. After getting the mini, we decided just to go bt on the b6 a4. So, the MCS is just mine now.

So far I've bought/installed(not everything has been installed yet)-
ESM 001 16x8"
Yokohoma S.Drive 205/45-16
Invidia CatBack
WMW 17% pulley
Dinan tune
Diy Intake
Raceland Coilovers
Depo projectors
and a few other bits

not taken many pictures yet, the weather has been pretty bad and been super busy with work.

I actually already have a european automotive background, VW more specifically. I have always had a few VAG cars kicking around (currently have the gf's b6 and then I have a 944 project.) I've built all of my own cars, and even designed a few products that some bigger companies sell for b5/b6 and 1.8t's. My last b5 made 485awhp.

Here are some of my builds(no particular order)-

Yep, I am 25 and the longest I've ever owned a car is 3-4 year, and that would be my very unfinished 72' mach1. Other than that the silver bt a4, is probably the second longest I've owned a car, 7-9 months.

I am from the Muncie area, so between Indy-Dayton-Fort Wayne.

Thank all of you.

Thanks again for the kind welcomes!

Finally got my Invidia Exhaust and wow! Such a gorgeous unit. I've bought catbacks from nearly every exhaust company and none come close to this. Even the decals they include are amazing, and I make decals so I am usually pretty picky on the decals. The flamed tips are a bit ghey, but I've already plastidipped them.

I bought mine from
http://raceconsultingagency.com
for $575 which they shipped it the same day(actually I bought/paid for it a week or two ago and asked them to hold it until I was ready) and got it two days later.

-----
So my exhaust will be going on tomorrow and then I will be putting the racelands on. I also plan to plastidip the fender flares this weekend

Since I make/sell decals on occasion I decided the mini could possibly use some stripes. Been working on a few different designs.... Have about 8 other designs just forgot to screenshot them when I had them up
