Default Transmission repair / rebuild / replace

The MINI seems to have NO fifth gear !
I had heard more stories about loosing 2nd any other similar experiences with 5th.
Someone somewhere posted that they had sourced parts to rebuild an R50/ Cooper ( 2001 - 2004 ) tranny ?

Anyone have or know of Used anywhere ?

Thanks,

Check out Car-Part.com - we've used them a few times and had great luck!

Hope that helps!

My first Midlands died by losing fifth while the cruise control was set at 70mph on the highway. Not that that helps your problem.
