just something the tire shop told me when i was getting my new wheels. never took the time to research the validity...

Dont see why not. I am missing one from when the tire shop forgot to put it back on, and I have no problems with it so plastic should be the same.

I would use plastic.

They won't short out. It's just that the different metals will interact and become stuck (which would obviously suck).

The only place I've found LEGO Stormtroopers is on Amazon? I don't even see them on the LEGO site.

Whoa they're way cheaper at that link. I fail at google.

I searched the walmart website and came up empty, but they may still have them.

I can't think of any sets out right now that have Stormtroopers. Only Clone Troopers. I don't keep up with Star Wars stuff like I used to though so I don't really know. I would imagine finding Black ones like those others would be a bitch. That was probably a special set or something. Probably best off to use Rally's link or eBay.

Check around, there's a mad culture behind LEGOs. People collect like the heads off them, and some even go for quite a bit. I'm sure you can cop just the parts you need somewhere

It's cheap and works great I can't say I've really noticed any performance gains, but I never expected to.

You can try bricklink. I think it's kinda like ebay with specific lego parts.
