Car really does look good.

Long story short I added an OEM LSD to my 04 Getrag last week. Then on Monday I found a crazy deal on an 06 Getrag with LSD and 20k miles on the clock. I could not pass it up so Yesterday I went and picked up the new Getrag and got it swapped out by about 2pm. While in there I added a Gen5 M45 from a JCW kit as well.

All I can say is that the shorter gears feel amazing!

Yeah, the revised gears in the MkII cars are a good thing - couldn't believe the difference between my '04 & '05.

Jealous of your LSD!

What kind of hood scoop do you have on right now?

Did you have to pull the motor to do the LSD swap

Your build thread is so confusing but looks great! Haha. I do miss the old look but it's all about the owner right...

Did your fit the TPR1 in the end? Just wondered what sort of gains you saw?

Yea its on the car and love it! Fuel mileage went up ever so slightly but I was able to prove that it went up.
Im not a dyno guy so no numbers other than how I feel the car performs. I know without doubt that it helped performance. It could do more with a cam and a tune but the JCW flash and injectors is all I honestly need right now.

I modded the front bumper to accept the slat grill with no glues or anything. snaps in just like oem. Gonna run the Aero grill for now though.
