just a thought, but is it possible to re-wrap the hood scoop to "delete" it? i mean, just stretch the vinyl over the opening? so you only had the outline left? or go one step further and put the wrap over the hood+scoop combo?

like i said, just a thought; i've never really done anything with vinyl...

OMFG you're right!

I really appreciate the support guys, I definitely would've given up on this a while back if I hadn't gotten as much encouragement from y'all.

Tuls, you just hand over yours and we have a deal

I think you'd still be able to see the outline of the "hole" since it wouldn't really follow any sort of contour. Good idea, though.

I was actually thinking that it would be kind of cool to wrap over the seams around the scoop, but I think you'd run into the same problem.

Oh yeah I forgot to respond to that. I definitely think you would be able to see the seams. IME, vinyl is good for hiding small holes (like where the emblems go), but anything larger would probably look pretty ghetto. Plus the hood is difficult enough as it is, I wouldn't want to try to wrap the scoop and the hood all as one piece.

If your car was a chick, I would have sex with it . . . The time and effort you have put into this seems well worth it, plus the photos look sick. Looking forward to the completed photos. Just have to finish off those tricky side skirts.
