Hey... welcome Larry. Bring Otto down, I'm sure he'll find a ride. He should try to ride with Dan (lead instructor, red M3, and instructs at Nurbergring too).

@Dave... add me to the list. I'll be there and I'll be running.

This is only in the planning stages and is still very much "up in the air" but I'll put it out there anyway.

As many of you probably don't know, I live about 10 minutes from Qualcomm. I'm thinking about offering up some floor space (and we have a sofa bed) to those that are coming from further away so you don't have to get a hotel or leave your house super early.

I'm thinking it could be a sort of unofficial m|u gathering. There are 2 liquor stores within walking distance as well as some restaurants and whatnot. There is also The Corvette Diner where we could reserve some space as well as probably some paking in the lot nextdoor. The Corvette Diner is a fun place where the waitresses dress in poodle skirts and throw straws at you. It's always a good time.

I will need to okay this through the boss (wife) but I don't forsee it being a problem.

Let me know if anyone is interested in crashing at my house and if there is enough interest in going to The Corvette Diner I will talk to them about parking and whatnot because I think it's usually first-com first-serve. And I will create a seperate thread for that event.

That does sound interesting. I don't think I have anything going on the night before, but I'll check and post back.

I should be up for it.
If sean drives, and he is ever so kind as to accept gas money in exchange for driving services, no need for floor space... otherwise, floor would rock.

thanks chip

Chip: I just wanted to let you know I've had some other plans up here in L.A. come up for Friday night, so I won't be coming down the night before.

Nah, T is the one with the SCMM account so all this $hit talking would probably not go over well.
