Well that didn't last long....

Customer made a change.....The grate is coming back tomorrow to have the legs lengthened to raise the grate in the fire pit.... It all starts with good dimensions I guess.....

Not really... I made the part to a signed off approved cad drawing... Customers always have the right to change their mind... And I have the right to bill accordingly...

It just becomes another job for me...

Was contacted by a automotive dealership owner out of Stow Ohio (Just North of Akron) to make some SS counter tops and bar tops for his place (11 in total)....

My welding table is 5' x 12' and it's hanging over the edges...

It's been crazy hectic in my shop lately...

The cutout is to accept one of those old bumpout farm sinks that mounts up under the counter top...

Thanks for the compliment...

I hate working on my MINI.... They sure didn't leave a lot of space under the bonnet...

You pretty much need to work with a local fabricator for a first time one off..... Need to have access to the MINI in order to take a ton of measurements, fit and make more changes.... Slow, time consuming and starts running up the development cost on the first one.... Once successful, the templates and welding jig can start cranking them out at a much lower cost...

I like how this guy took some creative steps to cold form some of the aluminum sheet into parts using wood dies....
