He went into OVERDRIFT!!!

Yeah guys like Mr. Initial D up there scare me sometimes when i think about canyon driving. I should even be scared of myself cus even when i drive something/anything can go wrong. I do stupid stuff sometimes but wow, people always seem to top me.

For example; some guy in my apt complex decided to wake everyone up at 5 a.m. doing burnouts in the middle of the street in a mustang GT, with an exhaust! Funny thing is the cops showed up lol. Wow was he speechless. Cops asked him what he was doing and he says " Just heading home" . Yeah, ended up heading to jail that night.

Some people are priceless.

He wasn't even drifting... got on the brakes and understeered into the rail.

Isn't giving out roads in PMs the same as just posting them? I mean, you don't really know these people, so what's the difference?

unless...you're PMing to meet up somewhere not in a canyon, and then you can use the douche-o-meter in person to see if you really want to take them somewhere fun...hmmm...

I don't tell anyone I don't know well where I find good roads. The obvious ones are done with, but we made the mistake of taking a guy we thought was cool with us one night, and he went and basically plastered directions to it everywhere, now it's one of the worst roads to go to.

Some people think I'm just being paranoid or elitist or whatever, but I can go up and down any of the roads I've found since then without fear of some D1 ladder series hopeful clipping me or causing a mass stakeout.

^ I sort of agree... I think that this kind of thing belongs on a friend-to-friend basis only. But, dude obv. has a MINI so I hope he's legit.

Granted, I'm not much of a Touger but I know a couple roads around San Diego/Escondido I only take people I know on.

[tinfoilhat]could be a CHP officer took some pics of an impounded mini[/tinfoilhat]

Given what I hear(I have no firsthand experience) about Cali roads, the point is probably moot, but the guy may be cool, and have asses for friends.

Just playing a little devil's advocate.

Default Supercar Sunday

Well i headed out to Supercar Sunday today and wow, what a fantastic event. I thought it was going to be smaller than that, but i was wrong for sure. I wish i had taken more pictures. Maybe I'll get some of them up on here later on.

Also, Randy, thanx a lot for letting me hit the canyons with you guys . Great little adventure. Never been there before and most definitely going to keep that one a secret. All the guys that i met tell them thank you. Hopefully i can make it out there again. I have honestly never met so many polite people in one place that have performance cars, and that are willing to spill the beans on what they have so freely without bragging about it.

Glad you enjoyed it . It was a good day, saw some nice cars , had a lot of open road and no DRAMA. Come on back any time .

I went up to some canyons around malibu saterday night. Around 6:30 till 8pm and I was very suprised seeing two chp cars pulled to the side. It was so dark I hardly saw them and I am very suprised both did not come after me. =/

Anyway, anyone up for the whittier run next sat ?? Should be some fun canyoning.

Valley Circle / Mullhulland

3 exits and about 2 miles past Topanga Cyn exit.

Take a left over the highway, shopping center on left .
