Any spec tire? I suggest some sticky street rubber or medium r-compounds.

for sure, no spec tyre, since it will be a 10-20lap with severe tyre wear. it will be up to you to balance pit time with drive time.

if some who knows how figure out how to record the actual race footage like from a monitor, so the race can be viewd later.

That isn't realistic for a race, though. We'll be forced to use the stickiest tires for the fastest lap times, but as a result, we'll lose a lot of the fun of driving the car. A little sliding = good.

...hence the 20laps and tyre wear.

.........."will my tyres last for one more lap? or should I pit and let ray pass?" scenarios would be common.

Sure, but it takes the fun out of it, is what I'm sayin'. It's much more fun to drive on a less aggressive tire, but unless a tire is declared, everyone will go for the stickiest tire possible so that they can win.

you're going to wanna win once the prize has been announced.

anyway I've been studying the courses, and 20laps with tyre wear allows for a bit of flexibility. the SS lasts 4 laps, the s 10 the mediums 14(depending on driving style. it would be best to buy all the racing tyres for your car as a choice may be made when you pit to upgrade your tyre choice.

this is just for the elimination.

the last 2 drivers will compete on street tyres, on a touge course ( so save a profile for it)

I really need to get this game...It's on my christmas list. Do you guys use the force feedback wheel? I have the one from GT3. Do you know if that one will work with GT4?

I'm not sure if the GT3 wheel supports 900degree lock to lock steering..

But I do use the force feedback wheel set on simulation mode (the wheel andthe game) without driver steering assist (powersteering)
