Default Rake- plus or minus?

Hey all,
I have recently wondered about the rake stance of my car.

I do know that R53's belt line is raked
But do stock coopers come with certain amount of rake?

On my car, gaps are about even but the ass is up and nose is flat down
I tried to adjust the rear coils and drop'em even but the perches are frozen up so I kind of gave up on that. I personally prefer the all around even-ness but slammed rake isn't bad at all

Is there any negatives to having some rake? does rake ruins the overall balance?

Front rake looks best as far as aesthetics go.

I know rake also deals with the weight transfer going into corners and braking before corners. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure a little front rake is preferred in this case too.

How much rake provides a benefit for cornering? Like, at what point is too much rake no longer a benefit?
