Found out yesterday - by the co-owner himself - they 'had planned' to keep me on the 'bench' (paid without an assignment) till at least the end of August. That was before loosing a contract (and 5 people) in FL. So as of yesterday - I'm unemployed.

But they will call me back if either of 2 contracts get started...

well on a good note I started a medication today since the prednizone didn't work...we'll see if this stuff blocks the right nerves which would be awesome because my neck hurts so bad right now I want to stab it with an ice pick. It's Gabapentin if anyone's heard of it...I read up on it but that didn't tell me much.

on a stupid annoying note I was making my deposit at the ATM...put in my debit card, then fed it my cash deposit, then gave it my checks then BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH!!!! SYSTEM ERROR!!!!! now everything is lost until the find it. They gave me a temporary credit but I've had this happen before and they "couldn't find" my $150 so they took back the credit...now it's $700!!!! I will kill if they lose this one and I can't touch the money in case they decide to take it back a month later like last time...grrrrrr

Discount Tire is full of freaking idiots. First one of them tells me the 912 is the same as the 512 then when they order my tires they only order two. "Did you decide you want two more" he says. He assumed because I drive a front wheel drive I only needed two.....

Bridgeport is in a state of emergancy from what I have heard and I'm not in Bridgeport so I don't know if I will be able to get home tonight. **** the tornado.

But I do hope everyone is ok. I'm told that two buildings went down and they still have not releast it. My roommate went home and found two windows blow out. Not the glass but the bottom part of the window. Nobody is inthe leasing office as a few walls actually fell down in the other building they own. Now I have to be up early to make sure thy are gonna take care of this.

Just found out my dad had a mini stroke this morning. My mom called me, she used mini stroke, I don't know if that was the doctor's term or not. She said he has baselined now and will get a room for a couple days at the hospital for observation.

So Grandmas 90th birthday party was a blast. I got to see lots of family that I have not gotten to see in over 10 years.

The only negative thing from it was what happened to my finger. The sink was clogged in the kitchen when I got there so being the wonderful grandson I am I jump right on getting it unclogged. Well there was a small knife that fell down the wrong way up just past the barrier. Well I didn't see it and now I have a large chunk missing from my middle finger on my left hand. Mom freaked out and wanted to take me to the hospital but didn't understand I have done this before and there is nothing they could do as a piece of skin is missing. The best part was when I had bloody towels on my hand the rest of the family walked in to that. It hurts like hell and the last time this happened it took close to three weeks to feel better and almost 2 months for it to fully heal. I didn't realize how often I used my middle finger for other than flipping people off till today.

But hey I'm happy I did it and not grandma. I then changed out the drain so it can't happen again.
