there will still be support, Jay will just be working on other things. He will delegate someone else to be in charge of this particular device

Wow, love how someone takes a post from our forum and misrepresent and try to stir up a pot. But this individual didn't take a screen shot of this of an update for FA users:

For ALL FA current FA users and new users. There will be a update coming up soon as we are tying up the loose ends of the program.

Some New Features includes:

1. Reset EWS rolling code value if lost - due to failed first initial upload and the EWS rolling code has rolled after recovering flash. Now you would be able to reset the EWS - DME rolling code value.

2. Added more maps and tables - Depending on software version on Siemens ECU (black cover) this list can range from 50 - 80 from the old list of 34.
On SiemensVDO (silver cover) can range from 50 - 114 depending on software number and auto/manual trans.

One good one that was added, is a second Main Fuel Compensation MAP that helps with WOT fueling in conjunction with the Main Fuel Map. This map will allow more precise fuel mapping.

3. We fixed a lot of X and Y axis on current maps listed now on the current version. For instance, on the Main Fuel Map, the X axis currently shows Boost Pressure. The new update has Mass Air Flow which is correct now. Another one is the Torque Limiter, as the X Axis shows Driver Demand, and the new update has the corrected X axis that shows Gear Position. You would still adjust this map the same as before. This would not change your current settings you have now, so don't worry.

I am not sure when the release date, but should be very soon.

What's to misrepresent? Just posting your own comments.

Okay... let me get something clear to you. If you read what you posted and the screen shot you posted. I stated there will be feature updates and bug fixes which is called "support" But for us to make special code to do things in the ECU as in live tuning, two-step, launch control which is not a current function in the ECU now. We are not doing that any longer or adding additional features that is not available in the stock Siemens ECU firmware. We are working on other projects, so yes for you to post something from our forum with a title that current FA users are SOL because we are not going to do future support is untrue and completely FALSE.

WOW LOL!!! Read the 4th sentence again, or several times so it can stop the twisting up the words up in your head to negative...LMAO!!!!

Anyways, it doesn't matter. There would be support for the future. I am sure your camp would love for us not to. But sorry to disappoint you. FA53 will be around for MINI R53 for a very long time and all users have a dedicated forum to go on for support and updates. Have a great evening :-)

You can say whatever you want, it never stopped you before. Doesn't change the fact of whatever you say would change any outcome of FA53. So it doesn't matter what you think or say LOL!

Let's not forget that F/A 53 is still the ONLY self tuning option that is OBDII compliant, for those of us who want to legally put plates on our cars in most states. And IMHO still far better then before when I had to worry, "what would I do if I lost my tune with my 550's."

I love how people can screw up something as simple as reading the words "We will still support" makes it easy to understand why we have the government overreaches we do.
