In the UK there were several teams that swapped the aluminum for steel on their race cars . Their theory is that the aluminum will shatter while the steel will bend in a bump and run.

When we met the guys who ran the Challenge series for the UK we picked up that little bit of info. I am sure they had some laying around but this was in late 07.

Installed my new front air splitter, while I'm waiting for my new 5 point harness to show up.

U.S. Touring Car Championship season has already begun, 3rd race of the season coming the 16th of June.

Unfortunately I don't have the budget to run a whole season right now due to the"great rescission".

I'm working to find some new sponsors & marketing partners that want to work with Canyon Motorsports to help field our unusually well prepared race MINI.

If anyone knows anyone that owns a business or company could benefit from marketing & exposure in a Pro road-racing environment, please hook us up!

I'm planning on track tuning the car with NASA at Buttonwillow Raceway on June 29th. If everything works well I'm going to enter the U.S.T.C.C. race at Thunder hill August 18th.

Looks good, I'm just trying to arrange flights and time off and such and I'll be out there in the next few weeks too.

Sweet looking Mini!

Numbers and reliability are everything after spending that much $$ on a motor. I know im at the 267whp mark with a 1.6 and stock blower so I would love to know how much power this is making. What are the numbers? How much boost ?

I more interested in how the motor fares and feels with the change in piston compression, but most of all how the Gear Based Boost Controller helps to handle putting the power to the pavement.
