Default BBS RC's

As I was looking for some BBS RS's I found a set of BBS RC's that caught my eye. They are 17x7.5's with et 35 and were 4x100. They have some curb rash, but overall not too bad. My question is, if I were to have them refinished where would I go. I am located in NJ, and don't know of any places around me that are any good. I have attached some pics of the wheels from the seller, but not sure if it catches all the curbing. They also came with caps too, but one is a little scratched up. How much would a shop charge to fix them up?

What size tires do you guys recommend? The previous owner had 215/40/17 on them. From another post someone said that these won't really poke so should I consider getting spacers?
If so what is a good size?

Those wheels with 215/40 tires are a really nice performance setup, but it's just too narrow of a wheel to "poke" with. If that's the look you want, I'd skip these and look for something at least 8" wide.

I really didn't think .5" would make that much of a difference. But I guess I'll just try to make it as flush as possible. Would I need any spacers to do that or is the offset good enough already?

If you want poke, buy custom setup RS not RC. ..

Drew is saying that to run a poked setup a minimum of 8" helps to keep the offsets reasonable. It is also hard to find tire narrow enough to stretch on a 7.5" wheel, which is usually an integral part of a poked fitment. Also many people feel that poking a skinny wheel looks a bit strange. Anyway you would want at least an offset of 20 to get a 7.5" to poke. So you would need at least a 15mm spacer.

Well I've seen a lot of RS's that are 7" in the front and they poke fine, that's why I assumed 7.5" wouldn't be too bad. But yea I'll just run these on the car until I find a set of RS's to fix up later. Does anyone know of a good shop in NJ to refinish them?
