Any more pictures of the interior?

Here's Lawrence and I doing a lap when we realised the door wasn't shut properly This pic really illustrates how the track goes up and down as well as left and right.

Finally fitting the passenger harness:

Rich found time to take a pic. The majority of the plastics are in and they're all dark grey to match the colour the doorcard plastics came in. Spot the red stitch trollin me hard.

Next up is refitting the splits, lowering and dialling in rear camber for Mini in the Park next Sunday. If the burgers are good and I don't get sunburnt I'll be happy.
You got a stand pass yet jase? And you should know the burgers will be average at best lol

I've got a "concours competition" pass now. Not looking forward to an early start followed by a 2hr drive and cleaning the car.

Yours is by far my favorite interior, especially with your latest updates. That track day looked like a blast too.

Thanks. The trim around the gearshift, indicator stalk and little rev counter needle cap need painting. The wheel is currently away getting leather and blue stitch. The original mats are looking tired with a hole where my right heel has been resting.
There was also future talk of swapping out the front carpet to match the rear. Oh and harness pads. I really didn't anticipate how much time and effort would go into this interior. Sporting a few extra grey hairs this year.

Door handle straps are by Rennline. Easy to install but the design could use some work. I wondered why the passenger door wouldn't open for a week until I realised it was the strap mechanism.
I've got an idea on how to fix this but no time yet. Will try and get a pic tonight.

No pics tonight Matt. I used my time fitting a temporary 3 spoke wheel. It feels quite far away from me. I'll get a pic tomorrow and Tweet it to you.

Thank you! The majority is in place but the details need finalising now. Front mats, maybe harness pads? I think that's why I was getting excited over the harness cage collars that Professor posted the other day. The main things are done so it's time for the finishing touches

There other big things like the roof and cage need repainting IMO because of the sub par finish but they're not going to change the look of the car. Just improve it.

Yes Rich I always welcome your pics of my car. I realised today that I don't have a good pic of the boot.

Hallo M|U. There was a big Mini show at Santa Pod here in the UK last Sunday. Batou worked his magic as usual. I thought he did well to make an expanse of tarmac and bins look interesting.

Have been having awful trouble with my lugnuts. The finish they come in isnt very hard wearing at all. Tried powder coating with a powder I bought but didn't have the balls to use on a set of wheels. It took 1 ruined set to realise that putting a a sheet of plastic between the lug and the key is enough to save the finish if you're careful.
The powdercoater suggested anodising which I will try next.

I really need to trim my new arches too
