That's functional carbon fiber. It replaces metal body panels, and adds more rigidity than plastic alone.

Also functional! Used on sailboats to reduce weight without compromising strength and rigidity.

Default Today is just not my Day...

I ordered the JCW CF Dash on Ebay and it fell through. I got my money back but what I wanted was the Dash..

And...

I called Aesthetic Creations yesterday... Click the image to open in full size.

It looks like I am NOT getting the Door Handles and Headlight Rings. Mike said that he has been having problem with his Carbon Fiber guy, fired him and He is trying to get someone else to make them. He said the last batch (3rd round) he just received will be shipped out this week. The People for batch 3 have been waiting 6 months.

Really? 6 months... Seriously... Wow... Click the image to open in full size.

He said that he could not promise when I could get the parts. I have already paid over $300 for them... I ordered them the week after I got back from the Dragon... And now he doesn't even have a guy to make the parts. The new person that Might be making the parts has to make a prototype to see if it is even acceptable. Is it really that difficult that people have to wait 6+ months for an overlay. Seriously?

Several people told me (Waylen included), "Good luck getting the parts." I see why now. So far Aesthetic Creations has not done so well in my book. Their stuff looks fantastic but it just takes too long to get...

They are still taking orders for the Carbon Fiber parts... but, THEY HAVE NO CARBON FIBER GUY!!! Click the image to open in full size.

I guess I will be asking for my money back and getting Waylen to do my Brakes...

The place I had the rings made was out of Singapore... NVD Autosport... If you contact them ask for Prapan... Tell him that Christopher Lee from Marietta Georgia sent you... He has good prices for odd pieces and does a fantastic job... Actually it looks better than the JCW stuff...

IMHO, I don't think those wings in the pictures are even straight edged! ... they look freehanded or something... unless the picture was taken underwater... =p Click the image to open in full size.
