Default BlackBerry

Well last friday i went to pick up my new BB8830. It took me months to decide which one i wanted and BANG, pulled that mofo trigga...This thing is a beauty. Now the only things i have left to do are to install some worth apps and to customize it, probably customize it to look like the iPhone cause thats how close i'll get to it ...

So far, i got these website to look at and as usual, you gotta pay for what you want...

Bplay - BB themes
JiveTalk - IM client for AIM, MSN, Gtalk, Jabber and some other ones...i'll set it up once i get the data plan going...
Google Apps

and....thats all i know for now....

So any BB users in here? Any of you got soem good 3rd party apps? Or some tips and tricks?

Unhappy

I have mine through work, so no fun for me! They have it locked down like Chino after a panty raid! About the only thing I can change is the theme and the ring tones. However I am not allowed to dl any additional ones... no fun for billy!

Ya i've been on Howard Forums and just like any other, all they do is complain and post up problems. Same goes for Brighthand.com, Blackberryforum.com, Crackberry.com, Pinstack.com, northamericanmotoring.com and pretty soon, motoringunderground.com is getting on that list...

JiveTalk is good...

Opera Mini - Good browser for the BB.
Viigo - Really good feed reader with tons of built in channels to subscribe to.
Beyond411 - Great local search tool that acts as yellow pages, white pages, etc.

I hate Canadian wireless carriers! So i called, not to long ago, my phone carrier to get a price on their data plans and this is what i get...

4mb/month = $25
8mb/month = $40
30mb/month = $60
250mb/month = $100

...so in the end...3/4 of the apps i want to use...CAN'T BE USED!...why? I'm gonna exceed my limit...damn...

Are you a Mac user? Are you a Blackberry user? Are you a Blackberry user with a Mac? Do you want to put videos on your Blackberry using a Mac?

iSquint
- it's pretty good app. You can use it for most devices and it's FREEEE! Best part of this is how simple it is to use and how easy it is to encode it the way you want...
