No I found them in this thread. I'm not sure what wheel they were originally made from but man they're nice.

those fit the R8 so much better. those could be cool on the sedan but they need to have less convex and be more flush with the outside of the car, they are too much of a combo of tuck and poke.

Agreed. I love the wheels to death honestly. But if they were a lower offset so they sit more flush, but the center portion didn't poke as much, it would be perfect. Because think about it, if the lip is flush, that center portion is going to be jetting out a good foot and a half on both sides of your car.

The wheels you posted look like Sanders

The top pic I posted was from a 935 build. Those are the tires they came with when he bought them. Probably a rain set from one of the old vintage race teams that was throwing them away.

I guess we're gonna see more of those extreme turbine-wheels now that Wörthersee has kicked off:

I have to say I really don't get these. I can be okay with them in terms of shock value or show car eccentricity, but these are the first wheels in a long time I can't get behind.

That about sums their sole purpose. Most of the cars running them in these photos belong to one group that works very closely with a wheel distribution company. It's a marketing/hype move for the Worthersee show (all of these photos are of worthersee builds). Its job was to get people talking....and I think we can see how well that went for them
