i'm pretty sure it's more humid and "wet" in my house, than outside right now. damn you kitties and not using the cat door to the basement!

i hope i won't turn into a raisin until the dehumidifier makes it home this evening. yay homeownership!

So I notice a dark ominous cloud rolling in even though it isn't supposed to rain today, so I run outside to put the top up and I'm rolling the windows up just as a torrential downpour hits, soaking me AND the car even though the top was up. fml.

Glad I don't drive through Ohio anymore....

Bad news, Buckeyes. The Ohio Supreme Court just ruled that a police officer needs nothing more than his or her informed guess on how fast a vehicle is traveling in order to issue a traffic citation. Yep. You can forget the radar gun, LIDAR or even the archaic pacing method. As of right now, officers can merely say that you're exceeding the posted speed limit and you'll be stuck with points on your license and a hefty fine to deal with. If that sounds more crooked than a Jersey car salesman, it gets better.

Quote ^. Ouch. I got a bit paranoid after trying to pass someone in the Mini and there was a Sheriff vehicle to the side. One patrol car turned into two following, one turned off but the remaining one continued to follow until I waited to make a left turn..it then drove and parked on the dirt to my right about 40 feet away. Feels like I did something wrong but doesn't..make sense to feel wrong? Could just be over analyzing it. Not looking forward to a possible ticket of any sort.

I confess that I've been abusing my Mini and being a maniac driver too, but what can I say? It's an awesome car and I just had to try it. Probably making an ass out of myself for all the neighbors to see....."Oh it's that Red Cooper, let's watch it do something stupid again"..I'll be better I promise

I think everyone says that about the state or their home state that they live in. I said that about New Jersey for years. Now that I've been out for three years in October I wish I could go back. Rally if you really want to see cops **** with you come to CT and drive I-95 everyday. They will be all over you with your stunning slammed MINI.

So does anyone have a spare R56 windshield just sitting around because mine has a pretty decent sized crack in it. The only upside to it is the wiperblade hides most of it.

I didn't know we had an earthquake today. They can be fun when they are small.

I dropped my Tag Heuer and it stopped working. I swear this watch is a lemon. First its minute hand did not line up with the hour hand, then the adjuster did not want to lock in. This is the first time I actually did something that could harm it and it broke. Ugh. No one else I know has this same issue with theirs.
