Totally do-able. Not sure what is considered the "fuel pot"...but you just change the fuel door, fuel cap, and plastic surround.
Opposite of anyone putting the MCS cap on an MC which is fairly common. |

Let me know if you wanna sell your MCS gas cap
![]() I've heard removing the rear wheel makes the job much easier. It's tucked up in there pretty well. |

Definitely remove the wheel & open up the fender liner.

I did this on my 06 MCS it was one of my favorite mods. I just traded with a member here for their MC set up. It was easy even without removing the wheel.

Alight. I'll have to rent a jack and some stands. And I guess a torque wrench. Then wait for the snow to melt. All for a gas cap haha. And rally ya if you want it. I'll let you know when I get this done. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

sounds like a fun project.
I'd like to do the opposite. I wanna try and fit the cooper s cap on a a roadster.. Im guessing there is clearance issues... but I'd like to do some digging to find a solution. |
