ive always been a big fan of smaller wheels on r53's. this led me to search for one of my favorite wheels, Kosei K1's. since theyre discontinued it took me forever to come across a set in 16" or 15" and the specs i wanted. i joined a honda forum recently in my search and found a set of 15x8 +35's which i purchased

no i have problems...

the center bores on these kosei's is not 56.1. i believe going by the specs of the wheel that it is a 54.1(miata hub size). ill be looking for a machine shop now to bore out the hubs 1mm. obviously THESE HAVE TO COME OUT PERFECT or the wheels will be wobilly and bobilly.

after all the shinanigans are done with the machining ill be getting them powder coated Sun Gold, wrapped in 225/45 Hankook RS3's.

here's pictures of my new "Winter Project"

a guy named mark made them along with the canards when he owned the car. He did a great job with it! They fit perfect!

they do look very similiar! your looks great as well!
Thanks everyone!

im gonna use the wheels on the car through winter and then put the kosei's on once spring rolls around. i got my hands full anyways with getting them machined and powder coated. not to mention im in the process of moving to norfolk VA from northern PA and thats absolutely destoying my bank account. i really shouldnt have bought the kosei's but i had to jump on the deal.

here's a little teaser of the color im going with. once again itll be awhile before i get to the finished product. cant wait for christmas bonus and tax returns!!
