* I'm happy to share with you my newest design of a set of 02 - 04 tail lights. I say "share" because these will be the only set I run like this that will be installed on my MINI. Gotta have somethin' exclusive to my name right!! ![]() I will be offering other combo's tho. Sorry to tease! Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Not sure what kind of combos I'll be doing - I just know that this is a pretty time consuming procedure. I still have another one to do
![]() I was planning on just tinting the lights and swapping them out (core charge typa deal). I have another set on the way tho! I will be doing swaps with that set and hopefully a few other sets.

Looks good.
I just tried almost the exact same thing. Took one apart, blacked the chrome, and tinted the inside lens black instead of red. Could not get the vinyl to lay right around the hump in the middle, and I cracked the outer lens getting it off. I think I will try it again, but just tint the inside of the outer lens. Thanks for the help a few months ago. The black out is almost complete! Jason |

No pics yet. I bought mine used and it has a lot of scratches and imperfections, so I'm not ready to revile her to the world. I'm getting a PC and a bunch of Prima products for X-Mas of hopefully after then I can show her off. The last thing I have to do after I figure the tails is "Joey" the headlights. But after cracking one of the tails, it has me even more scared then before!
![]() I have 3 thoughts right now about what to do with the lights. Either pull the vinyl and use Nightshades on the red lens. Or leave it red/orange and use Nightshades on the inside of the outer lens. Vinyl the inside of the outer lens. Or just go back to the standard vinyl on the outside of the outer lens, but still with the inside chrome removed. Ok that was 4. ![]() By the way, I have never used the Nightshades product so it too will be a little trial and error I'm sure. Jason |

Jason.....i've got pics of basically nightshading the red/orange lense in my lineup thread on this site
![]() ![]() Lyle.....i was thinking earlier, if these were the original clear lenses....I think you may need to add red reflectors for legality purposes (if you care). Or do they reflect red now that you tinted them red? I was curious about how that would work |

Yea they reflect red due to the red vinyl overlay. Are you talkin' about if I used a set of clear tails?
