Just a curiosity.

What is your #1 Liquor type?

I did list all the whiskeyish variants as they are all so different.

This applies to mixing and straight.

What is your favorite?

I have left out Absinthe, Jager, "Uncle Rumple" and other "unique" things. This is about the basics.

I LOVE Absinthe and "Uncle Rumple".

Shlivovitz is the drink of choice but unless I happen to be a Hassidic restaurant or in Slovenia I can only get it home. Dark Rum when out. Or Gin if it's hot out.

My favorite rum is Captain Morgan Private Stock, it is great to drink on the rocks.

Grey Goose Vodka for me, or in a pinch another brand will do... But I also really like Johnny Walker Blue... but I can not afford it so...

I liked Vodka up until it started tasting like water once. After that experience I can't even sniff it without losing it.

rum is by far my favorite! Mount Gay rum to be exact. took the tour of the mount gay factory while on my honeymoon in barbados. not many people have heard of it, so does anyone else drink it too?

A good vodka, but nothing beats German schnapps. Just got a new bottle of Schierker Feuerstein for Christmas, puts Jaeger to shame.

I have to agree the premiums are the best. I prefer Ciroc to Grey Goose. The Goose has a slight aftertaste to me, but I'd take it any day over a non-premium.

Effen is another one, their black cherry is excellent, besides you can ask the bartender for a "effen" shot of vodka.

Apfelkorn is fantastic for a not wanting to be obliterated mood.

Now Rumple Minze and I are like family. Old "Uncle Rumple" has been a fantastic start to many a good drunk night. Ask the Sunshine Minis folks the trouble Rumple Minze can cause at an MOTD party. I am searching for the pic of my belt with a shot glass on the buckle. Oh the trouble that caused...
