Default Headlights

Wasn't sure where to put this so if it's in the wrong place could someone move it for me. I know this has been beaten to death, but I can't find an answer to my questions. Pictured here are a set of 03 xenon lights. I have a late year 2005 MCS with non xenon lights (halogen). I know the projector type need the vehicle leveling wiring ran to the rear suspension. My first question is... Do these lights need the leveling sensors? My second questions is would these lights work without flickering if reprogrammed on my late year 05 MCS? Thanks

Besides the link not working, if I'm not mistaken don't the projector type lights only require the automatic levelers if factory?

Anything aftermarket or simply "not original" should just work, without the automatic leveling, right?

That's what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure if the older type matched the newer type. Thanks for the responses. Link should be fixed.

Just curious, (honestly haven't looked) since you don't have xenons from the factory, wouldn't it be cheaper to do an aftermarket projector housing ($?) & a DDM Slim Kit ($40.00 with bulbs)?

I didn't think of using an aftermarket setup. Something to look into. Thank you all for your help.

it would be cheaper but $400 for factory proven units, despite being the older models, is a good deal and you can rest easy you aren't blinding on coming traffic. plus, much easier to adjust factory units than the DIY pieces.
