The girl and I might be able to stop by. We're gonna be on Martha's Vineyard Friday and Saturday for a 5K race. Perhaps on the way back we could stop by, I still have to map it out.

i dunno, there isn't a lot of info on that first post...
mr. peter, do you guys have a flyer this year with all the details? i just checked the MOFC website and the only event was the upcoming norwalk oyster festival (which i have to trick nick into going with me... mmmmmm seafood!)

i actually got an email from MOFC that i can't detach the flyer from... but here are the details:
Sunday August 9th 11am to 4pm @ The Hotel Chesterfield, 1404 Shippan Ave, Stamford CT Raffle to with a 2 year lease on a 09 Cooper First 80 Minis will be entered into a Mini Car Show Individuals $10, Families $20 (proceeds to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Stammie) Games for Kids, Food and Drinks, Other Raffle Prizes... and there is 1/2 price happy hour from 4-6 at The Saltwater Grille AND it's to celebrate Mini's 50th bday.

 I lol'd at the "First 80 MINIs entered into a car show." Gotta love this community. Anyway, I'll see if my better half wants to get up that early and head home or hang out Sunday on the Vineyard.

This event will go from 11 to 4 pm.
It's a great place - good parking for MINIs - there'll be cops blocking off a street just for MINI parking and car show.......... Beautiful lawn for a lawnkhana - basic silly obstacle course doing dumb Mini things - possible rc car races major raffle items including a 2 year MINI lease for free and jumbo baskets of good stuff Food and drinks - 50th Birthday Celebration for Mini/ MINI - come and have fun! Call MINI of Fairfield County for further details - 203-347-4800. It seems they have a hard time updating their website and sending email blasts when I'm not working there any more.

I'll be heading to southern Jersey this weekend and wont be rolling through this year, I wish I was going to be in M.V. I was there last month, Chris... Just an FYI, I made it from woods hole to my drive way in Jersey City in 4hours flat... The trip up was a different story though...
