You still getting the 135? Thinking of selling mine too.........might take it to CarMax to get a value.

No 1 series, I can't afford payments right now. Getting into a straight 6 BMW, most likely an e39.

Sad to see it go but thats a really fair price for the car. I would honestly ask for more.

GL!

I hear you.

Did you bring it to carmax already? If you really want something quick that might be the way. One thing that is working for you in todays market is limited availabilty of MINI's in socal so they might buy your car "above market".

thanks briana

trip - would carmax get me close to 13k? i just don't see it since they want to make a profit themselves and this thing is covered in aftermarket parts so i feel like it'd get priced down quite a bit.

I think its worth a shot and it will only take 45 minutes of your time. Carmax does not do a complete recon on cars they put back on sale so they can keep their cost down. With that considered my feeling is they will probably hit your car anywhere between 10-13k and price it anywhere from 14k-16K giving them enough profit for it to make sense to them.

Looking at autotrader your year is going for anywhere between 14k-16k on average within a 100 mile radius.

no worries G. I figured you would be getting a lot of hits because of your relatively low asking price.

Good luck brutha!

Use Carmax as a last resort Glen. Your car will be wholesaled. We will not recondition it. I guess they'll offer 8-9k.

I'd guess Carmax wouldn't give you more than half of what you want.

When I sold my Cooper, I listed it for the "fair condition" KBB price, and it was in excellent condition for sure. It was slightly modified, so Carmax uses that as an excuse to offer you about half.

you wont get 13 from carmax with all the mods. I know people who work at two of them... you might get 7 for it. Unless you put most of it back to stock
