So I show up to work on the set yesterday and this is sitting in the garage. It is Tim's newest toy and just arrived from the builder , http://www.brassballsbobbers.com/ in Oklahoma . The amount of detail on this can't be seen in my snap shots but it truly was amazing in person . It is backround in a scene where Kyle wrecks his Sportster and has a conversation with his girlfriend. Its powered by a S&S 120 hp engine.

I agree with you . I would have preferred to see something small but in the natural aluminum like the rest of the bike. Perhaps they tried something like that but it might have just been too much bright aluminum, who knows. I will ask him why he went that route when I get a chance .

function over form I think in the case of the inverted front end. I would have powder coated the forks to reduce the sportbike look.
send him my way if he wants it to be faster.

I like that Husky so much that I decided to draw my vision of what it could become. Let's hope they make it! Also, ignore the lack of precision in the drawing. I'm getting back to drawing and trying ink freehand, so it's far from perfect.

Not exactly a bike (yet) but we did some initial computer modeling (Dynomation software) of an upcoming build for an international builder. Using our own in house cam design in a naturally aspirated 181" vtwin the initial numbers look promising.
In other bike news: We're having a set of cams ground now with the same profile as the above bike for the Land Speed bike which is a 100" Sportster currently making 153hp. Computer modeling (which has the Sportster at 148hp) has it at 176hp with the new cams. With that and the fairing S&S is making (wind tunnel testing was going on this week) the Gray Ghost II might just crack the 200mph barrier next season. Pic of the Gray Ghost II and the team just so I actually post a bike pic: ![]()
