I know the rotors used by DT for their early brake kits are from a Toyota Supra. I need to replace mine soon and dont exactly have 900 bucks for the 2 peice rotors they now carry.
Does anyone remember what year Toyota Supra Turbo they came from? |

Wow...you learn something new every day. That's pretty cool.
I'd assume they came off a MKIV, and I'm 70% sure that their brakes were the same through the years (93-98). So do they use the stock style brakes? www.hopupracing.com has some great options for affordable prices if that's the case. |

Yea its a standard rotor that has been drilled to 4x100 to fit the Mini. I dont know it the center bore is altered at all though.
My plan was to just pick up some quality slotted rotors and redrill them. |

Based on the Supra BBS RS's, their centerbore is bigger than ours. Atleast the JDM ones were.

Well the Minis Rotor centerbore and the wheel hub are 2 diff sizes. The rotor bore is much larger so the hub actually steps up in size.

You will have to change the Center bore and the bolt pattern, but they are off a 94-98 Toyota Supra the 17" kit used the turbo rotors the 16" kit used the non turbo rotors. i think i might have one set of rotors around here from the old style that i could sell you cheap. give me a call. one of the reasons i stopped using them was they were getting hard to get, so you may also have a hard time getting them, the second was they weigh a lot and everyone wanted the light weight ones.
