Wow.. I mean, I don't even own a motorcycle, I still would never think of cleaning a chain that way.
Maybe on a mountain bike, but sure as hell not on a motorcycle!!

my internets here is slow. im assuming by yalls comments he tried cleaning it somehow while it was moving? loll... there was a guy at the kart track the other weekend who thought he had popped a chain so he reached back to feel it and guess what was still there!
