The ring doesn't come out (mine was wrapped by the PO), if you use those small sticker dots on the buttons while paining, you can keep the labels.

Beautiful interior. Alcantara dash is so sexy. Is that an r56 shift light on the center dash?

Correct, it's a Gen1 shift light that I got used on MiniTorque.com (and also covered in Alcantara)...

I think the R56 ones look better and you can retro fit them on a R53.

Maybe try black vinyl on the center hub? Less permanent in case you tire of it or sell it.

Either way, looking good.

Turns out 3m electrical tape is the perfect width and it matches pretty close. Woot for a free easy reversible solution!

I may redo and move the seam to the bottom.

Hopefully I can fit my big ass in these and I will be picking them up this weekend. I felt like my all blac interior needed some contrast, anyone fit these in a Mini before? Can't find anyone that has.

Do those ass buckets come with sliders or static mounts?

Either way, you're gonna' bust into the custom fab zone.

You'll also need to do the resistor mod deal to get past the SRS.

The seat is based on a Recaro Pole Position seat and the brackets are the universal side mount brackets that Recaro makes. I am hoping I can mount the universals to the stock sliders, but we will see. Hoping I can fit it like the BK's that minimania sells.

I'd love to see those seats in a Mini. The side mounts on my Poles are modded to fit to the standard sliders. I'm 5"11 and they're at the perfect height for me.

Is all that's need is to drill holes in the recaro brackets that line up with the stock sliders?
