hahaha i was thinking... that's strange he seemed like a real straight shooter.

but yes its probably one of, if not, the best things i've done to my car. never regretted it, Function and Form!

Yeah, just don't give him your number. You'll never see the end of that conversation...

All of this cage talk has me on a site tempted to buy one right now haha if I didn't want wheels and if Christmas wasn't around the corner I'd be jumping on one!

Do what i do...5 easy steps

1. drink some Beer and/or Liquor
2. let it enter the bloodstream
3. find the desired car part
4. press the buy it now button
5. worry about it in the morning

I have so many different things on the list its unreal. Thing is, I need to get Christmas shopping done before I make any moves on parts. My exterior is currently horrible, so I think that needs to be the first order of business. Stop tempting me with this messages!

after much deliberation(and a partial part out)....i've decided to keep the mini.

installing a decatted Comptec/MiniMania header today. praying its not too loud, i have bad hearing as it is. The women says it's selective hearing but i beg to differ.

also thinking about buying another roll bar next week. not sure if i want to switch it up and get one from sneeds speed shop or just go with the same autopower race 4pt i had before.

Decisions decisions.....LET THE MODDING CONTINUE!!!

Pick up a more badass cage than before and consider me first in line when you sell it at a ridiculously cheap price during your second part out

I noticed the broadway mirror, you don't see those too often.

man i've had that mirror since high school in every car i've owned. i dont think i could go without it.

the header ended up being pretty loud with my custom exhaust but i kinda like it!
went to a muffler shop to see how much it would be to have the gutted cat cut out and the stock one welded in it's place. i was quoted 400$?! is that normal for a shop to charge? i found it extremely unreasonable but what do i know im not a exhaust shop guy. ended up welding around one spot on my cat back where it was leaking for only 10$ though. sound clip to come!

also started on a custom spoiler for my car. well see how this turns out. experimenting with materials at the moment.

Some boring pictures of the header install the other day.

also installed a m7 strut bar today and got my wheels in the mail!!!
some slight curbage on two of them but hopefully i can bring them back to beauty. theyre gonna fit 100% better then the 15x8's i used to have(the hubs on these dont need bored out )
16x7.5 kosei K1's

More to come!

here's what i got going on so far on the duckbill style wing I'm making.

just some dry craft foam from Micheals and some glue. I've started sanding the contour of the hatch into the foam and it sits pretty nicely so far. a couple more hours and some beers and it'll be ready to start shaping the top. hoping i can use the stock mounting points as well.

used my stellar Microsoft paint skills to show what I'm going for. Clean and Subtle, yet noticeable.

That spoiler is going to be sweet. Very similar to one that I want to make.
