Default Best gear lube to use

It's around time for me to do a transmission fluid change on my R53 6-speed. Is the Red Line MTL 70W80 GL-4 good stuff or should I look for something that's 75W90?

Thanks!

I just read about the labor involved in a supercharger oil change. Ouch!

If you were closer by I would do it for you for a lot less. I have about 150k on mine and have not changed it. You shouldnt worry about it too much unless you are running a 17% or 19% at high rpms all the time. If you have a belt tool then it is not hard to do.

My car has 80k, and I read somewhere that it needs to be done at around 100k, but maybe that's wrong.

I have the stock pulley, and only run high RPMs on occasion.

I will likely have to do the serpentine belt at some point though. Coolant is ok because I just had that flushed.
