I'm not sure if that's a turbocharged version of the factory engine or a swap out of a Rover Metro (I'm pretty sure that's the car that was available with a turbo and is a direct swap for the MINI's engine) but if you're going to be trying to boost a classic you're probably going to want to build the engine to stand up to it, why not just get the body that works best for you and add the rest to fit?

Either way that rendering looks cool, even though I've never like the squared off front end or BL corporate grille on the Minis.

oh i didn't mean boost it (well maybe one day)... i meant i want that version (the gray gt) and then make it look closer to the white one.

i second that statement.

btw...for those interested in a vtec swap, the clubman/gt front end is much easier to work with. due to the elongated nose, an extension or hood swap isn't necessary.
