Default The Forney Museum

Dr. Stylo and I took advantage of a rainy Saturday a couple weeks ago and visited the Forney Museum. I took a bunch of shots, some of which made my 365 thread. A pretty cool collection of trains, motorcycles and cars through the years. They had quite a number of Hudsons which were awesome. Unfotunately, they didn't allow tripods and nearly all was roped off so angles and subject were severly limited.

The Big Boy and the snow blower are my favorites (both in the photos and in real life)

Having shot photos at the museum myself, I know it's a tough situation with respect to the lighting. You did a very good job considering the conditions.

Thanks Dave. Did you used to live here or just in for a visit?

I grew up in the Denver area. As a kid we use to go the Forney museum at the original location (the building the REI flagship store is in now). My trip to the new Forney museum was on a visit to see my folks.

Thanks LC. Appreciate the feedback.

Dave, next time you come back for a visit give a hollar and let's meet up for lunch or something.
