Default New Top Gear Crew

Well I think the American version of Top Gear just got a little better . The crew for the original Top gear has just been picked .

An actor, a model and a motorcycle racer that speaks a form of English that should have sub titles. This should be interesting. Its been estimated that BBC lost 4 million viewers with the cancellation of the rest of the season.

Here is the article.

I mean, the hosts were the only reason I think most people watched the show.

Guy Martin is awesome though. He's the real deal. Sorry you can't understand him hahaha.
And the model is not just a model, she's way fast in a car.
Can't comment on the third one.
Yup it won't ever be the same again.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think the show is pretty much done. They won't ever get back what made the first hosts special.

The new hosts will forever be compared to the originals, and they won't ever get the opportunity to build the relationships and chemistry before the audience crucifies them.

Yeah, sadly I think the new group will be forever seen as a cover band of Top Gear.

I do agree with Guy being interesting dude to say the least. I watched a Isle of man documentary that had a lot to deal with him and he is fascinating but honestly I could only understand every third or fourth word I remember calling my wife in to take a listen and she had the same issue. I also call her in whenever Kimi is speaking as well , we call him Mr. Excitement yes I drive my wife nuts sometimes.

I've tried a couple of the other country variants, US and AUS mainly, and they just weren't the same. I just don't see how this will be any different. What's more, I'm sure the BBC won't give them as much money as Clarkson and crew could bring in, but I could be wrong.

Last Top Gear episode aired. It was bittersweet but enjoyable.

Just weird seeing the empty set and no Jezza.
