Exclamation C2 Motorsports Now In the MINI World Of Tunning!

So for the past month my car has been in testing mode at http://www.C2motorsports.net shop in Louisville Kentucky. It was rumored at MINIS On The Dragon they were going to step into the MINI world and attempt some tuning. Once I heard this I immediately jumped online and contacted Chris Collier the Product Developer/Technical Director of the shop. We exchanged some emails and phone conversations about what they were wanting to do so immediately jumped on board!

First they started off with a base tune on the modifications i already had to tests their tuning software. With those modifications they managed to tune it from 178HP/178TQ to a 197HP/203TQ!! This was only the first step of what was to come

Current Performance Mods
:
1.Track.One Custom Exhaust
2.Track.One Custom Down Pipe (No CAT)
3.M7 Tuning Super AGS Intake
4.NM Engineering Intercooler Hard Pipes
5.Helix Motorsports Intercooler

Also during the conversations we were having i mentioned wanting to do a turbo swap and how not many people out there provide this type of tuning. After being told this Chirs was instantly intrigued and said he had an idea and he would contact me later. I ended up getting a phone call from him stating he had a possible solution. He said he knew a company by the name of FrankenTurbo (http://www.frankenturbo.com/) was in the process of developing an aftermarket turbo kit for the R56. He mentioned this turbo was stock size and comparable to the JCW turbo but able to put out quite a bit of power. This being said i jumped on the band wagon again! They also did an awesome job at my gauge installation!

After doing the turbo install and their awesome tuning abilities they managed to squeeze a very conservation and safe tune putting me at 230HP/253TQ!!!!!

These are my thoughts of the overall tune and experience:

First off i want to thank the whole staff and Ryan Potter (software engineer) for this opportunity! They did a awesome job and I will continue to do business with them and steer people to them for tuning!

The overall tune is amazing all together i don't even know where to start! The throttle response is instant! The power and torque is amazing, also giving major props to FrankenTurbo for their turbo! (another review to be written) Prior to the tune i had that pesky CEL light for my non catted down pipe, it was tuned out and I've been driving my car for about a week now and has yet to pop back on! I drove it to New Orleans from Nashville and back, still had great gas mileage and power the whole way there!!!

Thanks again C2motorsports you guys are badass! I recommend everyone to check them out or give them all call if you are interested in tuning!!! They have and in house mustang dyno and a nice size shop! Two thumbs Up C2!!!!!!!!

Pretty nice numbers.

Will there be any tuning for R53's?
