SO plan is surprise birthday party/ proposal (her birthday is Tuesday).
shannon and i will get to the beach around 11 tomorrow, and chill doing the beach thing. All her friends will arrive and gather at the entrance of the park out of our sight around 1, to wait for my signal. Now i cant decide if i want to propose alone then have all the friends rush over. or have them all show up, with a birthday cake that says will you marry me then i drop down and ask. what should i do MU?

thats how i was leaning.
also to make the story a little better, we are going on 5 years together, and so far she she has always wound up upset on her birthdays. all of her friends have told her they cant make it to the beach for her birthday tomorrow (she asked them, but i got to them first) so right now she thinks all here friends don't like her.... another reason why i think them all showing up with the marry me cake is a good plan. and maybe lame but i was thinking of bringing my suite jacket and throwing that on (with just a swim suite on) right before i take a knee, as the friends/ cake are rolling in.
